HGTV takes over the Rotunda

HGTV is taking over the Rotunda at Mall of America®!  They are inviting YOU to the HGTV Holiday House, a modern-day life-size gingerbread house that will offer shoppers the opportunity to attend daily demonstrations, meet and greets or autograph sessions with your favorite HGTV stars!

HGTV Holiday house activities include enjoying episodes of your favorite HGTV shows, House Hunters Bingo every Monday night, various sweepstakes, a spectacular holiday light show at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m. & 8 p.m. daily and kid-friendly activities like gingerbread cookie decorating, crafts and coloring on Toddler Tuesdays®. Shoppers can grab photos in HGTV’s custom holiday photo experience or pose in front of the gingerbread house and a 44 ft. tall Christmas tree.

We know you’re excited to see the talent, so here’s the lineup:

Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri, licensed contractors and hosts of HGTV’s Kitchen Cousins and Cousins on Call, will host a presentation and autograph signing on Saturday Nov. 24 and Sunday Nov. 25, 2 – 4:00 p.m.

 

Amy Matthews, licensed contractor and host of DIY Network’s Sweat Equity, will host a presentation and autograph signing on Monday, Nov. 26 and Friday Dec. 28, 2 – 4:00 p.m. Amy is a fixture on DIY Network, having appeared in such series as This New House, Bathroom Renovations and the third season of Blog Cabin.

 

Chuck Nice, host of HGTV’s Home Strange Home, will host a presentation and autograph signing on Friday Nov. 30, 2 – 4:00 p.m.

 

 

Scott McGillivray, carpenter and host of HGTV’s Income Property, will host a presentation and autograph signing on Saturday Dec. 1, 2 – 4:00 p.m.

 

 

Egypt Sherrod, host of HGTV’s Property Virgins, will host a presentation and autograph signing on Sunday Dec. 2, 2 – 4:00 p.m.

 

 

Nicole Curtis, interior designer and host of DIY Network’s Rehab Addict, will host a presentation and autograph signing on Friday Dec. 7, 2 – 4:00 p.m.

 

 

Sabrina Soto, interior designer and host of HGTV’s The High Low Project, will host a presentation and autograph signing on Saturday Dec. 8, 2 – 4:00 p.m. Sabrina has appeared on several HGTV shows, including White House Christmas, Get It Sold and Real Estate Intervention.

 

Genevieve Gorder, interior designer and host of HGTV’s Dear Genevieve, will host a presentation and autograph signing on Sunday Dec. 9 and Sunday Dec. 16, 2 – 4:00 p.m. This Minneapolis native is also a judge on HGTV Design Star.

 

Sara Peterson, editor-in-chief of HGTV Magazine, will host a presentation and autograph signing on Friday Dec. 14, 2 – 4:00 p.m. Prior to joining HGTV Magazine, Sara served as the editor of Coastal Living, homes editor of Southern Living and lifestyle editor of Redbook.

 

Vern Yip, an award-winning architectural/interior designer and judge on HGTV’s Design Star will host a presentation and autograph signing on Monday Dec. 17, 2 – 4:00 p.m.

 

 

Carter Oosterhouse, a building and construction expert who gives viewers an inside look into the world’s most lavish rooms hosting HGTV’s Million Dollar Rooms, will host a presentation and autograph signing on Friday Dec. 21, 2 – 4:00 p.m.

 

Chris Lambton, professional landscaper who turns neglected backyards into relaxing outdoor spaces on HGTV’s Going Yard, will host a presentation and autograph signing on Saturday Dec. 22, 2 – 4:00 p.m.

 

 

 

David Bromstad, designer and host of HGTV’s Design Star and Color Splash, will host a presentation and signing on Sunday Dec. 23, 2 – 4:00 p.m. David is the first season winner of HGTV Design Star and currently the finalists’ mentor and host.

 

Join Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott, hosts of HGTV’s Property Brothers and Buying and Selling, will host a presentation and autograph signing Saturday Dec. 29 and Sunday Dec. 30, 2 – 4:00 p.m. Real estate’s twin brother duo, Jonathan, a licensed contractor, and Drew, a seasoned real estate agent, have a knack for finding down-and-out fixer-uppers and turning them into perfect properties for their clients.

Don’t forget!

For the first time, the HGTV® HOME line will be on display for the public at a special HGTV HOME Pop-Up Showroom, a 2,000 sq. ft. store located on Level 1, South. Opening on Black Friday, the pop-up showroom will highlight the breadth and diversity of products in the HGTV Home collection — from paint, flooring and furniture to lighting, accessories and plants.

  2. I am so happy to see MOA feature HGTV!!! HGTV is my favorite TV Channel, along with DIY and add to that, my favorite Rehab women, Nicole Curtis!!! She knows how to treat a grand old lady!!!
