Dress(es) to Impress
BY Becky Ewert | Guest BloggerI have a confession to make: I’m obsessed with dresses. It could be because it’s the summer of dresses. It could also be because they’re everywhere right now, and in pretty much any style you could ever want. However, the most likely reason I’m obsessed with dresses is because they’re pretty (I’m not that complicated).
Here are a few objects of my desire I’d like to add to my closet in the not-so-distant future:
Cross-Front Cabana Sundress. Comfortable and perfect to wear while running errands, or for a casual night out. (Old Navy, $15)
Max & Cleo Wrap Dress. Love the color. Love the ruffles. Love the wrap. LOVE. (Nordstrom, $98)
Maggy London Print Matte Jersey Shift Dress. This dress made me scream like a little girl, so I had no choice but to include it. It’s like Austin Powers called and wants to hang out. (The Austin Powers from the first movie, not the second or third. But I digress.) The print is amazing, and the dress would be perfect with a black boot or heel. (Nordstrom, $98)
Ikat Knotted Halter Dress. I love the versatility of a long dress, and I especially love the print and texture of this particular one. Pick flats or flip-flops to make it casual, or an extra high heel to go formal. Also? Ikat (pronounced ee-cat) makes me happy. (Banana Republic, $130)
