Ann Taylor MOA: Treasure trove of haute looks

Despite working at the nation’s largest Mall, I’m not what you would call a fashionista. Actually, getting dressed is really stressful for me. In fact,  I was grateful to wear a uniform in high school because my closet is usually not a joyous place but more of a place where I panic about committing major fashion faux pas. It’s kind of like math – I have to really work at it if I want to be stellar.

The real problem is that I buy a lot of separates, and often in the color (or lack thereof) family of black, white and grey. When I go to get dressed I don’t have complete outfits, but things I have to put together. This sets me up for failure.

In an effort to overhaul this behavior, make my life just a little bit easier and try to step it up at work, I set out to shop for complete looks. For some odd reason, I’ve never looked to the mannequin to help me put things together. In my travels, I stumbled upon Ann Taylor (currently in a temporary location while the store is being remodeled) and found several fantastic looks that require no thinking -  they’re already assembled and the store has fantastic staff to help you accessorize. Here are just a few of the looks that will make getting dressed each day a titch less stressful.

And just a tip from me to you… Ann Taylor friends and family (40% off purchase) is April 19-21.
