Experience Nickelodeon Universe^® in a whole new way during BLACKOUT on October 21, 22, 28 and 29 from 5-10 p.m. The park will be transformed with unlit rides, black lighting and fog effects all while DJ Glo jams out your favorite playlist. Stop by to make your own black light t-shirt, boogie at the bubble dance party, concoct spooky goo and decorate yourself with a glow in the dark airbrush tattoo.

Ghosts and witches 12 and under can enter the Halloween costume contests at 6, 6:30 and 7 p.m for a chance to win spooktacular prizes. Stop by The Patio starting at 5:30 p.m. to register. Prizes will be awarded to silliest, most original and best glow in the dark costumes.

Meet your favorite Nickelodeon characters including Spongebob & Patrick, Dora & Diego and The Backyardigans. The ever-popular Nickelodeon Scream Collector will also make a special appearance from 7 – 9 p.m.

All activities at BLACKOUT are FREE! But if you want to hop on a few rides while at Nickelodeon Universe — really, who doesn’t? — the BLACKOUT Unlimited Ride Wristband is $19.95 + tax. And the first 1,000 ride ticket purchases made after 5 p.m. in any Nickelodeon Universe retail store or at Guest Services receive a free treat bag.

We are giving away a Blackout Prize Pack! The Prize Pack will include two ride wristbands, a treat bag, white t-shirt, highlighters and glow bracelets.
