FREE Family Fun!

Right about now, if you’re not heading to some place warm to catch a wave and a break, you’re probably catching cabin fever wondering what to do with the kids to keep them from climbing the walls and keep you from breaking the bank!  You might be surprised to know that MOA offers a ton of stuff to do for FREE.  Yep, FREE!!!

The LEGO® Store:  If your kids are LEGO®-lovers like mine, head to LEGO®’s free building event the first Tuesday of every month.  Starting at 5pm, kids 6+ receive a free collectable LEGO® each month and work with master builders on site to put it together.  Click.  Snap.  FREE.  Fun!  Come early as there is a limited supply.

Toddler Tuesdays®:  Got pre-schoolers?  Then check out Mall of America’s FREE Toddler Tuesday events each week from 10 am-12 pm in the Best Buy Rotunda®(level one, east side).   Each week kids enjoy a performance, story time, craft or activity with their mom or dad.  Check out our event page at www.mallofamerica.com for upcoming themes.  The month of March features:  Ralph’s World, the Choo Choo Bob Show, Clifford and Toddler Tee Off.  Afterwards, stay for lunch at any of our participating restaurants like Tucci Bennuch where kids eat free.  Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch!

Free Family Flicks:  If you’re looking for a FREE indoor family activity on Saturdays and let’s face it in this brutal winter, who isn’t?!  Check out our Free Family Flicks on Saturday mornings at Theatres at Mall of America®.  Each Saturday at 10 am families can enjoy a movie completely FREE!  What’s not to love!  This month’s features include:  The Wizard of Oz, Alpha & Omega, Legend of the Guardians and MEGAMIND 3D.  Seats are first come, first served and for more info check out:  www.theatresmoa.com
