I want to go see these boys perform because I’m “Only Human.” As I was coming to terms with my sexuality I listened to songs like “I’m Alive,” and learned to love myself. I’ve wanted to go to this concert since I first heard about it last year! I unfortunately cannot afford to buy tickets for my little sister and I to go. We don’t get many chances to spend time together, and we just keep getting busier and busier as we grow older.. this concert would be the perfect opportunity to spend time together. We are both die hard country music fans. We can turn on any country music station and instantly know the song playing. Tim mcgraw sings our favorite country song, “something like that” and it would be so special to hear it live. We also love Kenny Chesney and have dreamed about seeing him for as long as I can remember. My daughter and I got up at 5a.m. the morning the tickets were going on sale to get a good spot in their “virtual line.” Although at the time she was up at college, we stayed on the phone with each other the whole time to see who could get the tickets first. When the tickets were made avaiable she was 53rd in line, and I was 70th. We continued to wait an hour before it was our turn to purchase tickets. We had our seats picked and credit card information in when the ticket system had crashed. It killed me inside to hear how heartbroken she was. We tried calling the company and using all of our connections, and they unfortunetely couldn’t do anything for us. We had been looking forward to going to this concert together since the day we found out about it, and now the only tickets left would cost us an arm and a leg to see just a glimse of the two singers we both love. It would be an absolutely amazing gift to surprise her with these tickets! I have been looking for my chance to find other ways to get tickets, and this seems like a perfect way to recieve them. I have been listening to Tim and Kenny my ENTIRE life (I just recently turned 21) and because our stadium is under construction (Lambeau Field in Wisconsin) I would do anything to be able to see them anywhere else! I tried to buy tickets when they went on sale but by the time I was out of class they were sold out!

More than anything I would like to win for my mom. Working at MOA and my other job, I don’t get to see my mother all that often anymore. Shes a 9th and 10th grade english teacher (so she always has her hands full lol) but country is always something my mom and I have in common
I would love to take her, or even just get tickets for her because she means so much to me, means more to me than country music, and shes always so modest it drives me insane lol. I would like to win these concerts tickets because I have family in MN I am from MI. I have a Cousin who does a lot for my family taking care of my Uncle and helping everyone. She make my visits wonderful when I come out whether it be giving me money to go shopping at the mall or fun money to take her twin daughters to the zoo, Nickeloden Universe, etc.. I have been a HUGE fan of Tim McGraw’s ever since I first heard “Indian Outlaw” back in the ’90s. The first CD I ever bought was Tim’s ‘Not a Moment Too Soon’. I always try to catch Tim when he’s been around the area on tour. The only time I’ve missed seeing him was when Kenny opened for him. And now Tim is opening for Kenny and I’d hate to miss this show. I absolutely would love to go to this concert because I love everyone at this concert! I’m a broke college student and couldn’t afford tickets when they went on sale but I also feel like if I don’t go to this concert I won’t be able to go to one of their concerts in the future, since they sell out so fast!

I would want to attend The Brothers of the Sun Tour because I can’t think of a better way to spend my birthday! It’s “Summertime” at Target Field and who knows what will happen “When the Sun Goes Down?” Maybe I’ll “Feel Like a Rock Star” or feel “Young” again. I would LOVE to attend this concert with my mom- a fabulous, hardworking, dedicated teacher who unfortunately got her hours cut this past year. She has inspired me to pursue a degree in elementary education as well, even though I know teachers earn far less than they deserve. I know it will be a challenging career but she has always said, “the world needs great teachers”. My mom is so selfless and would not spend the money to attend such a fun but pricey event on herself. Country music sings to my soul, it is a part of me. Because of this and in the spirit of summer, I have been dreaming of going to this concert. I have previously seen Tim McGraw in concert and already know he is a phenomenal performer. Now I would like the chance to see him with Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. What better way to enjoy the summer than kickin’ it in the sand with Kenny, Tim, Jake and Grace Potter. Here’s to hopefully getting my barefoot blue jean night at the Brothers of the Sun concert!

I would love to go to this concert to have the perfect spot to propose to my girlfriend. Her favorite country musicians are Kenny & Tim.
