[Giveaway] National Candy Month

Thank you everyone for all of your comments! Congratulations to Greg K., Sydney H. and Candi V. on each winning a Peeps & Co. gift card!

It’s National Candy Month and to celebrate, the MOA™ Blog team brings you their favorite sweet treats from candy stores at Mall of America®!

Northwoods Candy Emporium by Maria

What’s better than walls and walls of gummies, chocolates, fudge and every flavor of saltwater taffy imaginable? Watching a toy train dance around the ceiling above as you browse the bins of the whimsical Northwoods Candy Emporium! This special place is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth, no matter your age.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory by Brandon

These chocolate covered Carmels (regular and raspberry) are just a few of the chocolate varieties at Rocky Mountain! The perfect combo of chewy, sweet chocolaty goodness!

See’s Candies by Elissa

I am a root beer fan, especially when it’s in the form of an ice cold root beer float. But root beer floats aren’t always the easiest mid-day snack, so I was pumped to find the Root Beer Lollypops at See’s Candies. They’re sweet, delicious, perfect for summer and very fitting for National Candy Month.

Lindt by Bridget

Picking my favorite candy was an extremely challenging task because honestly, I like a lot of sweets. One of my most recent finds, thanks to my boss, is the European Specialties Raspberry Vanilla Eisdessert. The delicious raspberry mixed with the cheese cake flavored vanilla cream makes for a delicious treat!

iCandy Sugar Shoppe by Katelyn

iCandy Sugar Shoppe is the place to go if you are looking for bright, sugary and flamboyant candy! They have all the traditional gummy candies, including these delicious sour gummy worms, but they also have some fun surprises like taffy and giant gummy bears on a stick! Swing by their store, Level 1, East for a sweet (and sour) time!

Godiva Chocolatier by Sarah

Godiva is my go-to store for a chocolate pick-me-up. I can’t get enough of their Mint Chocolate Chip truffle. It’s the perfect treat to satisfy my obnoxious sweet tooth.

Peeps & Company by Erin

Ask anyone who knows me and they’ll tell you, I’m a sucker for sweets (no pun intended)! I was ecstatic when Peeps & Co. selected MOA as a retail destination for their second US store! The coolest aspect of the shop, in my opinion, is the Mike & Ike dispenser station that allows you to create your own Mike & Ike flavor combination. How awesome is that?! Haven’t checked it out yet? Peeps & Co. is giving away three $10 gift cards on the MOA Blog! Scroll down to find out how you can enter to win.

  1. I am sinfully addicted to Mike and Ikes; any flavor. At this point I buy several boxes of various flavors, dump them into a ziploc bag and stow them in my purse for insatiable candy cravings!! However, I would also like to express my love for Peeps; the bunnies, not the chicks. I don’t know what it is about biting off their ears, but its the best part of their marshmallow goodness!!

I went to the MOA and experienced the Peeps & Co. store for the first time in February 2012. I don’t typically venture into Nickelodeon Universe, but on this particular day something caught my eye… a giant Peep Chic inside one of the shops. How could I resist! My friend and I spent almost two hours experiencing what the store had to offer (not to mention a countless number of Mike and Ike samples.) The store has flavors you can not find in some of the grocery or convienent store boxes. It was absolutely breathtaking!!

PEEPS AND COMPANY® is the best! My favorites are the
    PEEPS® RAINBOW POP
    and the
    PEANUT CHEWS®

  4. Every Holiday I hope for Peeps to be in my stocking, Easter Basket, ect. They truely are the most delicious treat ever. The shapes are super cute and perfect for any occasion! I don’t know why, but the yellow ones are truely the most delicious(however the other colors are great too) I like the chocolate ones, but I prefer to stick to the original kind.(why change something already amazing?)  My godmother and I share our love of peeps and going together to get some has become a favorite memory. Now we have the Peeps store where we can go and see all the differant Peeps!!!:))

  5. I love, love, LOVE color and fruity tastes, and so I most definitely have to say Mike and Ikes! They are delicious! I still remember when my friend was baby sitting and the small baby we were taking care of would not quiet down. She was eating Mike and Ike’s and had fallen asleep, and I realized that the child had a Mike and Ike’s melded-together-ball, chewing on part of it, quiet. That was when we realized she was teething. Funny, funny moment! My email is Catrox678@gmail.com

  6. MIKE AND IKES. NO question. They are actually my life! hahaha! But seriously you give me a box of those and there gone before you can even say PEEP@8e1992c0c5eb7aba14a669b042bc7fee:disqus  hahaha :)

  7. Oooh! Roasted peeps and bunnies! But only if you let the candy get all hard and stuff. Much better way to make s’mores!

  8. I love the gummy peaches!  Not totally a weird choice but totally delicious.  My husband and I argue when he wants the last one.
