2016 is already shaping up to be an extraordinary year thanks, in part, to Pantone. For the first time the color mecca has named two hues, or more specifically a blend of two colors, for the Color of the Year: rose quartz and serenity. As Pantone noted ‘a generation that has less concern about being typecast…has opened our eyes to different approaches to color usage’ and, we must say, we love it. The colors are warm, balanced and even better when paired together. The two soft shades are already popping up around the Mall and the runways! From string sunglasses to classic fragrances, there’s plenty of rose quartz and serenity to be had. Of course, we’ve already tracked down a few of our favorites to kick 2016 off in style.
