Fall Fashion Trends
If you’ve been following the trends this last year, you know that graphic prints, bold color statements and clean lines are all the rage. These trends have surpassed fashion and are also making waves in the home design world. So, as our planning for our Fall Look Book commenced we called on, IKEA, our neighbors across the North Lot, to help bring our fall concept to life. Imagine a look book where fashion for home + runway played together in seamless harmony! We were bound and determined to make it happen.
IKEA: The Perfect Place for a Photo Shoot
Having IKEA as a playground for prop styling, photo backdrops and color inspiration was a dream! We were able stage spaces throughout the giant store, use rugs as background texture, re-work classic IKEA dining chairs in new ways and had a blast while doing it. The only minor hiccup was the 3 a.m. call time for the shoot. We didn’t want to disturb customers with our cameras, models, equipment and general chaos that seems to follow with any photo shoot.
I’d say the outcome was definitely worth a couple groggy mornings!
