Spring Break Style

With temperatures near freezing and snow on the ground, I'm dreaming of a a warm-weather getaway. Keep reading for my Spring Break styling ideas.

Be sure to refer to my packing tips before you read this article. With those in mind, especially #3, here is some outfit inspiration to keep you looking your best on Spring Break- even when you only have a carry-on!

Made for Traveling:

Straw hats are a necessity to complete any warm-weather outfit, but they don’t pack easily! The only way to bring one along is to wear it on the plane. Be sure to put your comfiest shoes on- you’ll be doing a lot of walking and don’t want to worry about blisters when you’re running through the airport. Also, maxi dresses aren’t only cute, they’re really comfy! Throw a cardigan in your carry-on bag in case you get cold on the plane. Any traveler knows that a good suitcase can make all of the difference when packing and trying to navigate up stairs and over uneven surfaces. This one from Samsonite is not only incredibly lightweight, it maneuvers easily + has a TSA-approved lock for ease of mind.

Where to Find:

Polka Dot Dress: Urban Outfitters – Level 1, West (W122)

Straw Hat: Express –  Level 2, West (W204)

Birkenstocks: DSW – Level 1, West (W124)

Black Label Spinner Suitcase: Samsonite – Level 1, West (W158)

Made for Exploring:

When you’re packing all of your vacation necessities into a carry-on, space is a precious commodity. I recommend bringing three pairs of shoes. One being a pair of broken-in walking shoes that you can put miles of exploring on. My favorites are Birkenstocks; once they’re broken-in I can easily walk 10 miles in them! Pull on some denim cut-offs and a cute, cotton shirt and you’re good to go! If you’re not sure what the day will bring, you can always add fun earrings and a purse to dress your outfit up.

Pro tip: throw on your bikini under this outfit because you never know when you’ll find the perfect beach!

If it gets chillier at night just throw on that cardigan that you packed for the plane!
