Calling all ghosts, ghouls and goblins. Don your costumes and check out these Halloween treats (no tricks!) at Mall of America. Here are three of my favorite ways to celebrate the holiday.
Build your own monster at Haunted Workshop
Build a stuffed animal and accessorize with Halloween-themed outfits and accessories. At the Haunted Workshop at Build-A-Bear Workshop (Level 1, East), kids (and kids at heart) can make their own furry creatures, including monsters like the mummy teddy, bear-o-lantern, werewolf and zombear.
Join Broomelda’s Witch Academy with FlyOver America
Aspiring witches and wizards have the chance to attend the Witches Academy at FlyOver America (Level 1, Nickelodeon Universe®) and receive their broom-flying diploma. The test includes a 4-D flight that takes you soaring over some of the most incredible sights in America, led by head witch, Broomelda.
But first, you must navigate your way through the haunted pre-boarding experience featuring spine-tingling Halloween decorations and graphics.
Halloween Havoc at Nickelodeon Universe®
Halloween Havoc has taken over Nickelodeon Universe, and it’s bigger and better than ever before.
There are pumpkin displays throughout the park created by world famous 3-D style pumpkin artist, Ray Villafane. The vignettes feature gremlin-like pumpkins who are up to no good and wreaking havoc in the park. Be on the look out for them lounging in hammocks and even hanging out with a scarecrow.
Additionally, there’s a fright-lights show and monster bash where you can boogie down. Costumes are encouraged — let’s see what you’ve got!
