But I’ve found MOA to be the perfect destination for another activity: a weekend getaway with the girls! Here’s an itinerary for a jaunt around the 5.6 million square-foot Mall that will make you and your girlfriends want to schedule a trip ASAP.
Friday night: Find your home away from home
First thing when you arrive: Check in at one of the hotels attached directly to the Mall. Radisson Blu and JW Marriott are both conveniently connected to Mall of America via skyway. Check in to one of their beautifully furnished rooms and get ready. You are now only steps away from the largest shopping mall in the nation.

Saturday: Show yourself some love

After a long day of shopping, sit down, chill and relax. Theatres at Mall of America® is the perfect place to kick back and have some quiet time while catching a fun flick. Watching a movie while snacking on some popcorn is great, but adding a glass of wine or a cocktail to the mix is even better! Stop at STARBAR prior to show time. Grab a drink and head over to the 21+ theatre for a movie-watching experience that is guaranteed to impress.
Sunday: Immerse yourself
Did you know that some stores at Mall of America offer curated group experiences to make your visit fun and carefree? Before you leave, you must try one.
My personal favorite is the dining experience at VOM FASS (Level 2, East). The Art of Delicious Dining is a lesson in how to use oils, vinegar and spices in cooking Mediterranean meals. During this experience, you and your girls can indulge in three or four courses paired with wine or spirits for each tasting. This is the perfect opportunity to expand your palate and take home valuable cooking lessons.
