Mall of America has had the pleasure of hosting hundreds of celebrities, including movie and TV stars, music legends, authors, athletes and even YouTube sensations. Each individual makes a special impression on Mall staff during his or her visit. But one star who left us twice with particularly special memories is Jason Segel.
Jason’s first visit to MOA® was in March 2014, when he and Jesse Eisenberg came to film a portion of their new movie, “The End of the Tour.” He returned August 2015 for a special screening of the movie in the exact same theatre where a scene was shot. How cool!
Jason appeared on the August 12, 2015 episode of “Conan” to discuss the new movie, and he recounted how he burst into a showing of “The Muppets” (in which Jason plays the lead role, Gary) at Theatres at Mall of America®. Watch him tell the story in the video below:
