Toddler Tuesdays, one of the longest running programs at Mall of America®, runs from 10 a.m. to noon every Tuesday morning in the Rotunda. It’s the perfect time to get in some fun before a good long nap.
Each week, Mall of America hosts new themed event for children to enjoy. Toddler Tuesdays events have featured musical performances from Stages Theatre, yoga lessons from Blooma Yoga, storytelling from Peter Rabbit and meet + greets with characters from Paw Patrol, Dora the Explorer, Peppa Pig, and more.
I recently stopped by a Toddler Tuesdays event featuring the Reptile and Amphibian Discovery Zoo (RAD Zoo). Moms, strollers, and eager children lined the Rotunda to see some creepy, crawly creatures.

Karla and her daughter Grace are regular Toddler Tuesdays® attendees from Eagan, Minn. It was no surprise to see them in the audience, ready for the reptile show to start.
“We love the variety,” Karla said. “Grace loved golfing at Moose Mountain and really enjoyed the Teddy Bear Band. There is always something new, different, and fun for her.”
Shows by such acts as the RAD Zoo, St. Paul Ballet and Minnesota Children’s Museum always draw an energetic, attentive crowd of kiddos.

And some of the biggest crowd pleasers at Toddler Tuesdays are the meet + greets with characters from Nickelodeon and other popular friends.
“She loves the characters,” Karla said of her daughter. “To see them come to life is very fun for her.”
With a smile on her face, Grace added, “I love to take pictures with them.”

Every event is free of charge, which is one reason Toddler Tuesdays are a favorite among parents, babysitters and nannies. Smiles abound, and kids love each new, interesting activity.
Karla says it best: “With all of the fun and free activities each week, it has become a routine for us and we love Toddler Tuesdays.”
