Our love for the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA) runs deep, and we’re thrilled to show off our artist t-shirt collaboration! In 2015, Mall of America partnered with MIA to create a pop-up shop featuring a collection of graphic t-shirts designed by five contemporary artists: Kota Ezawa, Jenny Holzer, Chris Larson, David Rathman and Alec Soth.
The designs were created to celebrate MIA’s 100th birthday, and range from Alec Soth’s folklore-inspired prints and David Rathman’s multi-media designs to Jenny Helzer’s inspirational, text-heavy tees. Art + fashion are interconnected in many ways, and we wanted to bring that to life through a collection that celebrates the essence of what we each do.
These one-of-a-kind shirts are available for a limited time (and in limited quantities) for just $25 each for at Mall of America (Level 1, Southeast Court) or in the MIA gift shop.
